Thank you for registering for the 12-session therapist training.
I’m looking forward to a fruitful and productive collaboration. The course materials are at the link below.
Please e-mail me your curriculum vitae, contact information, and a paragraph or two about your interest in this topic, including any previous experience, personal or professional, that you’ve had with overshopping. Send your c.v. and the cover note to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once I have your information, I’ll e-mail you back to set up a 15-minute individual phone call.
Our first session begins on March 11th, 2011 at 9:30 EST.
For those who are attending the course in New York, the address is Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, 1841 Broadway (60th St.), 4th Floor.
If you are calling by conference line, I will give you the conference number by March 9th. If you are participating by Skype, I will give you the Skype name by March 9th as well.
Looking forward to seeing or hearing you!
Each of you agrees not to duplicate any part of the book or the Journal. If you plan to use the book and journals with clients, they’ll need to purchase their own. Any materials I send you during the course are copyrighted and all client-related information is confidential.
I hope to create a therapist’s manual and/or training package, partially based on our work together. I ask that you allow our sessions to be transcribed and that you consent to allow audio and digital tapes to be made for the purpose of training mental health professionals and/or doing clinical research. The recordings will not contain your full name or other direct identifiers.
When you’ve finished the course, you’ll be eligible to be listed on my website as a therapist who has completed a course of training with me. For liability purposes, a disclaimer, similar to the one that you see on the APA referral site, will appear on the bottom of the page; and I’ll ask you to sign an indemnification agreement.
