Conscious Shopping

Are your emotions in the driver’s seat when you go shopping, only to leave your brain in charge later with those feelings of guilt or regret? Instead of being a shopaholic, how can we be more conscious shoppers? Conscious shopping makes you feel good about each stage of shopping, before, during, and after, without having to justify it to yourself. One way to do this is the “pick just one strategy.” Rather than impulse buying a few things at different stores that you just “have to have,” make a conscious effort to pick just one thing. Chances are you’ll be happier with one thoughtfully chosen item than a bunch of things bought in a blur.
