A job in a casino, whether directly connected to gambling or in the food and beverage area, can be the wrong place for a person addicted to gambling. Shopping addicts who work in a retail environment can end up spending (charging) more money than they make, especially if they’re tempted by an employee discount. People with pornography addictions who work at internet-based jobs would be better off working in a public setting. Behavioral addictions can be just as devastating as drug and alcohol addictions.
