It can be hard to spot this addictive behavior, but it is more common than you may think. Behind compulsive buying disorder, there can be a range of personal issues that people seek to solve through spending. As this comes to the surface as an emotional problem, there are more and more ways to seek help and support, and despite any media sensationalizing, shopping addictions should be taken seriously while making steps towards treatment.
